Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman presented Union budget 2021 on February 1, 2021. It was first time, when a Finance Minister presented paperless budget, Finance Minister, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman used tablet to read out complete union budget 2021. Here is the point-wise complete analysis of union budget.

Total amount of budget is 34.83 lakh crore.

First paperless budget. Complete budget read out using tablet.

Fiscal deficit for the FY-21 is 9.5% and for the FY-22 is 6.8%.

Govt. aims to reach Fiscal deficit below 4.5% by FY-26.

Total amount of Rs. 1,10,055 crore is allocated for Railways.

Total amount of Rs. 4.78 lakh crore is allocated for Defense budget.

Total Amount of Rs. 1.18 lakh crore is allocated for the Road, Transport and Highway Ministry.

Total amount of Rs. 18154 crore is allocated for the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

Total amount of Rs 7148 crore will be given to other countries as development assistance.

Total amount of Rs 50,000 crore is allocated for National Research Foundation.

34.5% (5.54 lakh crore) Capital expenditure increased for the FY-22 against FY-21.

Total 6 pillars for the budget 2021.

Revenue and capital receipts for the FY-22 is 17.9 lakh crore and 16.9 lakh crore.

Revenue and capital expenditure for the FY-22 is 29.3 lakh crore and 5.5 lakh crore.

Biggest source of revenue for the FY-22 is borrowing from market, second is GST and third is income tax and biggest expenditure for FY-22 is on interest payment of loan.

No change in Income Tax Slab.

6.48 crore income tax return are filed.

Senior citizens above 75 years exempted from IT return file.

Tax investigation time reduced to 3 years from 6 years for the amount less 50 lakh.

NRIs will be protected from double taxation.

Total amount of more than Rs. 25 lakh (approximately 27 lakh crore) is estimated of all relief measure announced by government, which is 13% of India's GDP.

Total Amount of Rs 64,180 crore is allocated for PM Atmanirbhar Swastha Bharat. Amount will be spent over 6 years till 2026.

Total Amount of Rs 1,41,678 is crore allocated for Urban Swachchha Bharat to be spent over 5 years.

Total Amount of Rs 2.8 lakh crore is allocated for Jal Jeevan Mission.

Regulator for Gold exchange will be SEBI.

3800 kms road has been completed under Bharatmala project and more than 13000 kms to be completed under Bharatmala project.

Total Amount of Rs. 1.3 lakh crore is allocated for 3500km long national highway in Tamil Nadu, 1500km long national highway in Kerala and 600kms long Mumbai-Kanyakumari corridor.

Total amount of Rs. 4000 crore is allocated for Deep Ocean Mission over 5 years.

Total amount of Rs. 1500 crore will be spent for the promotion of digital payment.

Total amount of Rs. 3768 crore is allocated for digital Census 2021.

FM Nirmala Sitharaman announced over 15,000 schools to be qualitatively strengthened under National Education Policy (NEP).

New Central University will be opened in Leh.

100 new Sainik schools will be opened.

Total number of 1.78 crore farmers registered in e-NAM (an online trading platform for agricultural commodities in India).

Total amount of Rs. 16.5 lakh crore is allocated for the agriculture and rural sector.

Total amount of Rs. 75,000 crore has been paid to farmers for wheat procurement in 2020-21.

Farm cess of 2.5/litre on petrol and 4/litre on diesel.

100% Agriculture infrastructure cess on alcoholic beverages.

National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP) project has been expended to 7400 projects across the sectors energy, roads, social and commercial infrastructure, communication, water and sanitation. Govt. will spend amount of Rs. 102 lakh crore.

            39% central govt.

            40% state govt.

            21% private sector

Total amount of Rs. 1000 crore allocated for the welfare of tea workers of state Assam and West Bengal.

Total Amount of Rs. 3 lakh crore is allocated for Discoms.

1 crore more free LPG connection will be given under Ujjawala Yojna.

Capital gain exemption for startup investment extended for 1 year more.

Asset Reconstruction companies will be set up for bad loan management.

Incentives are announced for incorporation of companies to boost to startup for 1 Person Company.

Target for divestment for FY-22 is 1.75 lakh crore.

FDI limit in insurance has been increased to 74% from 49%.

Hydrogen Energy Mission to be launched in 2021-22.

Total amount of Rs. 300 crore is allocated for the celebration of 60th anniversary of Goa.

Scrappage policy announced for older vehicles. After 20 years for private Vehicles and 15 years for Commercial Vehicles, will go for fitness test.

Seven new mega-investment textile parks will be established over the 3 years.

Broad gauge to be electrified by December 2023.

Development Financial Institution (DFI) will be setup for fund infrastructure project, capitalized with 20,000 crore.
