I think it happened first time in history of civil aviation that a flight of country is seized in another country. Malaysia government has seized PIA flight Boeing 777 aeroplane at Kuala Lumpur airport with 170 passengers.

Now, let me explain to you from starting. All planes of PIA are not owned by PIA itself. Many of them have been taken on lease from other companies. In this regard, dispute is being going on between PIA and a Irish company and case is pending in a UK court. At the same time, when PIA flight is flying from Malaysia, a court in Malaysia ordered to seize the PIA plane Boeing 777. Therefore, Malaysia police has seized PIA flight Boeing 777 aeroplane at Kuala Lumpur airport.
PIA spokesman said, "A PIA aircraft has been held back by local court in Malaysia taking a one sided decision pertaining to a legal dispute between PIA and another party pending in a UK court".
PIA was struggling financially because last year, flights were grounded due to corona pandemic. Pakistan airline was banned for six months from flying to European Union over safety concern. In May 2020, a domestic PIA plane was crashed in Karachi resulting death of many passengers. In the investigation it was found that many PIA pilot were found to hold dubious licences. Such a time, this incident is a big embarrassing for the PIA.
But Pakistani media blame on India that owner of company is an Indian and the whole incident is planned by India to humiliate Pakistan.
