In the year 2020, almost all countries around entire world
have been affected from corona virus. More than 8 crore people are affected,
more than 18 lakh are death cases and still counting in increasing.
If we talk about UK, more than 27 lakh have been affected and
75000+ people died. Cases are rapidly increasing due to spreading of more
contagious variant of corona virus: B117. Therefore, PM Boris Johnson announced
England-wide lockdown. PM Johnson said new more contagious variant of corona
virus was spreading at great speed and urgent action was needed to slow it
down. Further he said most of country already under pressure due to corona
virus. We need to do more together to this new variant under control. Everyone
in England has been told to stay at home apart from essential shopping.
If we talk about India, as on 4 Jan 2021, total 38
people have also tested positive for new variant of corona in India. Moreover,
India has become world's first country to isolate and culture new variant of
corona. Culture is the process by which cells are grown under controlled
conditions outside their natural environment. It helps in the development of
vaccine.
